Michele Mo graduated with honors from the Conservatory of Turin and the Accademia Superiore Internazionale "Lorenzo Perosi" in Biella with Peter-Lukas Graf.

Winner of national and international competitions, has premiered works by Morricone, Correggio, Bosco, Campogrande and participated in the most important festivals of contemporary music; among them: Festival Cervantino, Ensems, Rencontre musicales en Artois e Festival d'Automne in Paris, Traiettorie Sonore in Como and Nuova Musica Italiana in Rome.

In 1997 he founded the Trio Hausopera "with which completes successfully toured throughout the world (New York, Seoul, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Warsaw, Krakow, Lisbon, Montevideo, Sao Paulo, Tunis, Malta). Intensive he firms and publishes educational articles for magazines and has recorded for various radios and televisions as well as for Edipan, DDT and Rugginenti.

He collaborated with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale Rai, with the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Turin and since 1998 is first flutist of the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino which currently is also President.

Since 1990 Michele Mo teaches flute at the Musical Institute of the Valle d'Aosta and he also taught master classes in Italy and at the University of Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Seoul and Montevideo. He has performed as soloist in the seasons of Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Camerata Musicale in Prato, Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Teatro in Brescia. He also performed with some of the most celebrated soloists of the international scene (Letizia Belmondo, Peter-Lukas Graf, Angelo Persichilli, Umberto Clerici…).

He is regularly invited into juries of important national and international flute competitions.
